Chrome monolithics refractory compound is made having mineral composition Chromite ore with Magnesite Powder or Bentonite Powder, Calcined bauxite Etc. In this process high grade chrome ore or chrome concentrate at about 90-95% by weight is mixed with 5-10% of additive materials like Magnesite Powder or with sodium Bentonite Powder to form different grades of chrome monolithics as per requirement of customers. Magnesia monolithics the magnesium content is less than magnesium bricks. Their eutectic compound melting point is relatively low, so the Chrome magnesia monolithics the temperature resistance is 18500 ~ 19600. Magnesite in the magnesia-chrome monolithics and magnesium-chromium spinal is easy to form a mesh skeleton, because the low melting point filled in the network gap is less at high temperature load. The proportion of different raw materials used for production of Chrome Monolithics or Chrome refractory mortar is 80-95% age by weight of Chrome ore and 5-20% age of Magnesite Powder or Bentonite Powder by weight as per requirement of the customer industry.
